I'm glad.

[okuri]

[ He tilts his head.]

[sobowtor]

Because your life is worthwhile.

[Maybe it was always doomed to be painful and short but.]

I'm glad I got to meet you at least.

[okuri]

[ His breath catches for a second.]

My life is only good for one thing. [And he sighs.]

I wish you wouldn't be. [ "And if I have my way, you won't remember."]

Even if your existence is only important for one reason-- [Something she can identify with actually.]-- it doesn't mean you can't pick up other reasons, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant along the way.

[okuri]

... [ He actually doesn't know what to say to that. If this has been when he had first arrived, he would have dismissed it easily. But too much has happened, too many relationships forged (too many mistakes he's made) for him to just push it aside.
