Week Two ♡ Thursday Night ♡ Poland's Room

[Poland's at her paranoia peak at this point, refusing to even come out of her room. She could bump into any number of strange weirdos that reside within this building.

She's not even interested in leaving for food-- which is why Lithuania offered. Of course now that means Lithuania's out there and... and... GOD. THE TERRIBLE POSSIBILITIES ARE JUST ENDLESS WHEN STRANGERS ARE INVOLVED.

But, Siarka seems to know when Lithuania's back and opens the door for her with her tail.]

Nobody like, followed you or anything?

[Lithuania has brought rather a lot of food back. She knows Poland's snacking habits, and honestly she doesn't really want to go very many places herself, although she would rather go than have Poland do it if necessary. Laima trots in after Lithuania.]

Of course not--I would have noticed, and Laima would have noticed even before that. [Still, Lithuania makes sure to lock the door and double check the lock before she even puts the food down.]

[Strangers are sneaky tho Liet... besides. Isn't this around the time of the week the first murder happened?]

Were you especially hungry or something?

[Not that Poland's complaining. The less trips outside, the better. Shouldn't hotel rooms come with mini fridges anyways?]

If there's more food here, there's less reason to go wandering around at all hours. [Even though Lithuania hardly wanders around at all hours even on weeks where she's not especially paranoid.

But anyway she's just going to slide Poland's dresser in front of the door.]

[Poland recalls her attempts to get dinner Wednesday night.

The screams of terror will never leave her-- along with the orange juice stains on her dress sleeve.]

[Poland grabs a dinner roll, breaking it in half and giving one to Siarka.]

Hey maybe we should like. Always do this.

You know. The sleep overs.

Til we go home.

[Poland firmly believes they're both getting home. Although. Given what supposedly needs to happen to go home she's not quite sure on the specifics yet.]

I suppose there are two beds. [But sleeping over with Poland that long--well, right now it doesn't sound like a bad plan, and maybe it isn't, since it would at least always give them an alibi at night...] At least near the end of the week.

[You know, as the chances of murder happening go up.]

[Poland can sense Lithuania's hesitation. She knows.

She's just too irresistible to love in confined spaces. Don't fight it Lithuania.]

Yeah. There's two beds.

So. Even nights when you don't think anything's gonna happen and then someone shows up dismembered inexplicably-- those nights too would be good.

Yeah.

I don't want to leave my room empty all the time. [Also, she does need away time from Poland.]

I can go to your room!

[As long as she doesn't have to go outside her room to get there.]

How thick do you think this floor is anyways?

I'm not sure, why? [Lithuania is going to double check and then triple check that the window is locked.]

[Poland stomps on the floor a few times, trying to judge what kind of tools she'd need to make a trap door.]

[...] No, Poland.

I didn't do anything, yet.

[Poland pulls a nightgown out of her dresser and starts undoing the buttons on her blouse.]

In any case. If this is about the bat being in your room alone, I'm a way more fun conversationalist.

It's not about that. It's well-hidden. [So it's fine!] I just don't want to find out someone's been planting evidence in my room while I'm unaware.

[sobowtor]

I think you'd probably notice instantaneously with how anal you are about keeping it clean and proper.

[Poland wriggles out of her clothes and into her nightgown, before flopping listlessly onto her bed.

It was a rough day of endless paranoia.]

Who wants to sleep with me~?

[This question is directed at Siarka and Laima-- but hey if Lithuania is interested Poland won't object.

Really though. Tonights's an opportune night to cuddle.]

Eh? The beds are--ah.[Lithuania was heading into the bathroom to get changed herself--even if Poland knows about the scars, there's a difference between that and Lithuania showing them off--so she doesn't see who Poland is addressing at first. When she turns, though, she realizes. Laima is looking at her and at Poland in turn, so Lithuania addresses Laima.]

Go on, then. [With permission, Laima hops up onto Poland's bed. Lithuania, meanwhile, finally goes into the bathroom to change, though she leaves the door open a little so she can hear Poland speaking.] Are you sure you'll have enough room with those two on your bed?

[Poland gasps, putting her hands over Laima's ears.]

Oh my gosh Liet, don't call her fat!

I mean unless you say it like cutely. [Poland rubs Laima's head, pursing her lips.]

Who's a fatty puppy, yes you are! Yes you are! Mwah mwah mwah!

[herbgrace]

[Laima wags her tail and licks Poland's hand. Lithuania, meanwhile, comes out of the bathroom in pajamas and with her hair down, looking much longer now that it's free of its braid. She sits on the empty bed and begins the task of brushing her hair out, which always takes some time.]

All I meant was these are twin-sized beds. Laima is the exact perfect weight, of course. [Laima's self-esteem is very important, even if she is a big dog who definitely has wolf blood in her veins.]

[Poland whispers in Laima's ear. Audibly.] I think she just wants someone to cuddle with.

What if we made a super bed then everyone will fit and I don't have to break any hearts by denying them the honor of sleeping with me.

[herbgrace]

We shouldn't move all the furniture around unnecessarily. [They'll be tired and then what if someone tries to murder them in the night! What if Lithuania sleeps through it! (This is literally impossible.)]

[sobowtor]

Yes but.

I'm like a whole three feet away. Think of how much easier it'd be to keep track of me if I'm right there. I mean someone could kill me in my sleep and you'd never know because I'm so far away.

[This is also literally impossible.]

[herbgrace]

I would notice! [But Lithuania's voice rises in enough alarm that Laima raises her head to pay attention.]

I don't know.

Seems like a risk that could be avoided with some calculated bed pushing...

[Poland doesn't really believe any of this but she knows Lithuania might.]

[herbgrace]

[She knows Poland is just trying to manipulate the situation. She knows it, but now that the idea is planted in her head, she can't ignore it.] Fine. Just for tonight. [Lithuania stands again to move the nightstand in the middle out of the way.]
